Tony has been at the helm of the ship since 1969, having completed his comprehensive training including an Indentured Apprenticeship and a Construction Technician City and Guilds award at Saunders Glass Brighton. His knowledge of the glass world and business acumen is rivalled by few. He has steered the company successfully through two recessions never compromising his staff or clients in the process. He remains our driving force and an influential and popular member of the local business community.
Danny has been with the company since 1990, having joined as part of a father and son installation team. His father has long since retired but Danny has stayed with us to provide the backbone for the installation and surveying side of the team.
He is Tony’s right hand man stepping in to the office to provide technical drawings and additional support including overseeing all of our Health & Safety procedures, maintaining our high standards and is instrumental in making sure our accreditations are kept up to date.
He has also continued his studies leading his staff by example achieving NVQ Level 3 Installation, Fenestration & Surveying, PASMA, IPAF Managerial, CSCS Gold and being one of our capable First Aider’s. His professionalism has won us many Commercial contracts and client’s young and old request his attendance on many projects. He is our Installations manager, Tony’s confidant, Clients support and Daddy to the team.
His working ethos is something that is carried out by all our staff, of which is quality is paramount and the old cliché of the customer is king.
His priority when leading his team is to ensure that out our three key words are put into practice, Cleanliness (there is no point in having work done only for the workman to leave you with all the cleaning up to do), punctuality and politeness. He is an insurmountable professional and you can rely on him to answer any queries you have whilst your work is being carried out.
Although Jamie is one of the youngest members of the Glass Centre team at 21 he has maturity above his years and you will find him courteous and professional at all times.
Being under Pat’s skillful wing he has grown in confidence and has become another valuable asset in the growing Glass Centre family.
